Relay Module
This single-channel relay module runs on +5V DC (Vcc). The control signal is active low, and can be anywhere between 3 to 5 VDC (i.e. most microcontrollers, including Arduinos). The control signals can be connected to a microcontroller GPIO or to an open-collector output because the control signal is active low, meaning that the relay will be energized when the control signal is grounded (i.e. inverted logic). If the control signal is floating (or at the control signal voltage), the relay is de-energized.
An on-board green LED indicates the relay status, and a red LED shows the presence of 5V power.
