Precision Temperatur and Humidity Sensor
The ADS1115 breakout module adds 4 channels of single-ended (or 2 channel differential) high-precision, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. The 16 Bit resolution is much more precise than most microcontroller native ADC converters.
The module has four input pins which can be configured as 4 individual single-ended channels, or 2 differential channels.
The Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) can boost tiny signals up to 16 times before measuring them.
It uses a simple two-wire I2C communication system, meaning it only requires four wires to connect to your main board.
The wide supply voltage compatibility lets you run this board with both 3.3V and 5V systems without the need for level-shifting.
