Prototype Adapter for Arduino Nano V3 or Uno
This dual-purpose breakout board can be used with an Arduino Nano or Arduino Uno.
To use with a Nano, simply plug the nano into the female headers in the center of the breakout board, and plug-in a 7 to 12V DC power supply (center-positive) into the barrel jack. The voltage applied here is routed to the supply-voltage pins of the Nano / Uno
To use with an Uno, plug the board on top of an Arduino Uno (need to solder male headers to the bottom of the breakout board). Note that Uno R3 SCL/SDA pins are not brought out to the breakout board. When used with an Uno, make sure to supply power to the system via the breakout board or via the Uno's DC jack, but not both at the same time.
The breakout board has an onboard 3.3V regulator to supply regulated 3.3V DC to your application, but only limited current because this regulator is powered from the 5V provided by the Nano's or Uno's regulator.
